Solve UAE Residency and ID Problems Online: Avoid Amer Center Visits

UAE Residency and ID Problems

Struggling with UAE Residency and ID Problems due to missing or unclear documentation? Explore online solutions to streamline the resolution process and avoid unnecessary delays. You can complete the process from anywhere using video conferencing services, so you don’t need to visit any Amer centers in Dubai physically.

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) – Dubai told Khaleej Times that the Virtual Amer Service was user-friendly during Gitex Global 2023 earlier this year.

“After a visa officer finds that certain documents are missing or ambiguous, the applicant does not need to visit the Amer center for any outstanding transactions. According to a GDRFA representative, the user can now use the Virtual Amer Service to talk to a GRDFA officer in real time and get the problem fixed.

A real person provides the remote service so that clients may see and talk to an officer directly to resolve the issue, rather than a chatbot that merely mimics human speech.

Conserving Time and Energy

The procedure is straightforward: The officer will examine any missing or ambiguous documentation while the applicant remotely accesses the virtual service. To finish the transaction, the applicant will then attach the updated document in the chat box. The GDRFA representative went on to say, “The Virtual Amer Service will reduce transaction time and make the process simpler for customers,” emphasizing that the applicant does not need to complete this task directly.

All types of visas, including residence, student, and visit visas, and golden and green visas, can be issued and renewed using the web service.

Customers who have previously submitted an initial application but have had their processing delayed due to a missing or unclear document can resolve the delay through video conferencing.

Plan For Expansion

When the first phase of the video call service was launched in the first quarter of 2023, GDRFA-Dubai previously reported that 250,000 transactions were performed in the first two months.

The Virtual Amer Service is currently accessible Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., but it will eventually be available around the clock.

In addition to the Virtual Amer Service, consumers can reach the Amer call center by calling the toll-free number 8005111, which is open 24/7.
