10-Year Good Standing: Dubai’s New Reward For Residents and Sponsors

The program, which honors those who follow residency regulations, will go into effect on November 1.

The General Directorate of Residence and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai said Tuesday that residents and Emirati sponsors who have not violated residence laws in the previous ten years will be granted “special privileges beginning November 1.”

The “Ideal Face” campaign honors everyone who complies with UAE residency regulations. By their commitment to abiding by residence laws, they represent Dubai’s “Ideal Face,” according to GDRFA.

Among the unique advantages are:

  1. When calling the Amer Call Center, priority call service
  2. Amer Centers have a dedicated service line to speed up their turn.
  3. Getting a digital certificate of appreciation for “Ideal Face”
  4. Using a mobile service truck to provide senior citizens with services at their homes

However, only individuals are eligible for the rights; establishments are not.

The following are the requirements for eligibility:

  1. Must be a foreign resident or a citizen of the UAE.
  2. Must have spent at least ten years living in Dubai.
  3. Sponsoring one or more people who haven’t broken residency laws in the last ten years is required.
  4. The sponsor cannot have any current-year residency infractions on file.

GDRFA emphasized that by promising to continue abiding by UAE residence requirements, the program “offers all community members the opportunity to be a part of reinforcing social security and safety. “

“Safety and security are the cornerstone for realizing the UAE’s vision of a happy and sustainable society,” stated Lt-Gen Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, director-general of GDRFA. The “Ideal Face” campaign showcases people who uphold the law and embody the positive image of the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, it motivates everyone to behave well and helps bring about security and stability.

GDRFA pledged their ongoing dedication to residency legislation and encouraged all citizens, residents, and visitors to join the campaign.
