Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, announced on Saturday that educators who have made exceptional contributions to the private education sector in Dubai will get Golden Visa.

Dubai Honouring Private School Teachers On World Teachers Day

On World Teachers’ Day, Sheikh Hamdan announced through social media platform X and thanked the city for the work teachers do in fostering the development of young brains.

“On World Teachers’ Day, we issued directives to grant the Golden Visa to educators who have made outstanding contributions to Dubai’s private education sector,” the Crown Prince of Dubai wrote on social media. Your efforts to develop young brains and inculcate the ideals that will shape tomorrow’s leaders are greatly appreciated. You are essential collaborators in determining Dubai’s future and accomplishing the ambitious objectives of the Education Strategy E33.”

Outstanding teachers employed by private schools, foreign higher education institutions, and early childhood centers are eligible to apply for the Golden Visa. Their academic excellence, contributions to raising the standard of education, encouraging comments from the educational community, and their work assisting students in achieving improved academic results and recognized graduation credentials are the foundations for this distinction.

Dubai hopes that this new program will draw skilled educators to the emirate and inspire them to help shape the city’s educational destiny. It is in line with the Dubai Education Strategy for the upcoming ten years, which emphasizes hiring outstanding educators who are enthusiastic about encouraging lifelong learning.

Well-Earned Commendation

Earlier in the day, President Sheikh Mohamed, who is celebrating World Teachers Day on Saturday, October 5, commended the efforts of UAE educators and thanked them for their “dedicated service to the nation.”

Sheikh Mohamed stated in a post on X that educators have been crucial in shaping generations and motivating young people.

Sheikh Mohamed has already declared February 28 to be the Emirati Day for Education.

The UAE’s vice president, prime minister, and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, also expressed gratitude to the educators and stated that the “nation appreciates you.”
